The Golden Rule makes it clear: “Do for others what you want them to do for you!” (Mt 7, 12) This Christian imperative comes from the commandment to love others: “Love your neighbor as yourself, because he is as you are, (he feels as you feel).” If everyone would keep this commandment, there would be peace. Whoever is baptized in Christ, strives for righteousness and charity. Whoever keeps these basic Christian values contributes to the cause of peace.
